C-35 2009-2010 Fire Safety Inspection Report for the School District’s Educational Facilities

Issue/Rationale

Florida Statutes and State Board Rules require the School Board to receive and approve the Fire Safety Inspections by June 30th of each fiscal year. The Clay County School District, by Law and Rule, is required to conduct an Annual Fire Safety Inspection by Inspectors certified by the Division of State Fire Marshal. These Inspection Reports shall be submitted to the State Fire Marshal after School Board approval. Inspection Reports shall be available for Public Review and were performed by in-house certified personnel.



Recommended Action

Approve the District required 2009-2010 Fire Safety Inspection Report as submitted.



Financial Impact

All operation deficiencies identified within the inspections will be corrected by schools. All other deficiencies will be corrected by the Maintenance Department and funded by Part III, Capital Outlay Funds.
